Highly recommend A-Dental Center. They made me an appointment for next day. When I arrived, they checked me in promptly. All the staff were warm and friendly. The dentist was very attentive and made sure I was okay as they proceeded to pull 4 teeth, give me a root canal and apply a crown. Facilities were very clean and an organized. Very impressed overall.

Dental Implant Treatment Specialists in North Hollywood, CA
Dental implants are a great way to restore your smile if you have any missing teeth. They can also be an option for replacing a tooth or a row of teeth that has died due to trauma. Dental implants look and feel very similar to natural teeth, which makes them a very popular option.
At Pacific Implant Group, we have a staff of implant treatment specialists available to help you in North Hollywood, CA. If you have a missing tooth or if you want to take care of a dead or dying tooth, keep reading to learn more about dental implants.
Discover the Dental Implant ProcessA dental implant is made of a titanium post that screws into your jawbone and a ceramic crown that looks just like a natural tooth. Between the crown and the post is a piece called the abutment, which securely connects the two.
Because a dental implant screws into the jawbone, you need to have enough jawbone to support the implant. This can be a challenge for those who have had missing teeth for a long time because the jawbone begins to deteriorate if chewing does not stimulate it enough. If you do not have adequate bone in your jaw, bone grafts may be an option.
The whole process of dental implant treatment takes a few months because for your jawbone to grow back around the implant post takes time. But once the dentist places the crown, you can resume your regular eating and oral care habits.
You never have to worry about taking the implant out at night or protecting it as you do dentures. You just need to care for the implant as you do your natural teeth: with brushing and flossing.
